With over 15 years of servicing the human hematology market, the dependable Drew Scientific D3 3-part differential automatic system is a powerhouse and is dependable, sturdy, robust, and reliable. The D3 System has an easy-to-use touchscreen interface with a convenient and easy-to-load onboard quality reagent pack. With a very small footprint, the 3-part complete blood count analyzer is perfect for doctors’ offices, as well as for urgent care and oncology clinics among others.

Operation

All operations are controlled via the large touch screen.
This includes start-up and shut-down, run samples, datalog, QC, Reagents.
Four different operator levels are possible including Lab Manager and Lab Tech.
Operators are logged at start-up or when a new operator takes over.

Sample Handling :
Blood samples must be collected in EDTA tubes. Sample sizes :
Direct mode : 10 µL whole blood
Pre-diluted / Capillary : 25 µL into 0.5ml of diluent using a built in diluent dispenser

Throughput :
60 samples per hour in direct sampling mode

Reagents :
A compact 3 reagent pack is provided. Packs are coded with lot number and expiry date to give full traceability.

QC
Six controls levels, 3 months each. Assay values can be entered via the keypad or loaded from a USB key. Automatic calculation of mean, SD and CV% (possible to reject bad samples). Levey Jennings plot per level. It is possible to upload results to USB key for peer to peer analysis.
